炉火不用生得很旺

我仿佛又听到了7 a. M a( ^, X1 ^8 i& w0 `

当年乡下的老屋

暮冬的雪飘落了一个又一个黄昏

透过被飞雪映得发亮的窗子

使我久久不能入睡

飘飞的雪花渐渐掩住了以往的记忆

细枝坠落

To spend the calmest time of year in peace

* A B) s. f3 F It is warm enough here, F) y& M. B* z
To sleep awhile unwittingly& c% N! Y6 f; g |$ ]% U' e
Dreaming of youth
* u% u, ^, T, i M Against the brown wooden partition
& W: S) j" u1 x$ f) R I can almost hear
5 t# I" T. x% z+ F5 t. h* o The somewhat distressed humming
3 [3 q5 {5 T/ }' k, b$ c2 k) S The old country house
8 w+ l) c2 X4 G+ v [6 W May no longer be there- ?- S0 {% h C4 q8 m# }# z
With pinks growing slowly on the windowsill0 [0 h$ K) k9 x& c" r9 {
Late winter snows float down twilight by twilight* W5 ]9 a' ~1 c) W5 b
To be heard in the solitude against the glass6 Y0 }+ n# v& r/ X
And through the window illuminated by snowflakes( ?7 e! t% r1 O
The old tree's crotches seem swarthier
$ \! F: E0 G# L; W7 o* l And the sound of melting snow falling from the eaves+ o2 z6 `4 `! A
Keeps me long from sleep8 E9 S/ Q5 v& e% @8 q3 A9 j2 L8 a; h# d
And in my youth
+ D5 Y) h2 x9 S7 G" @ I did not sleep till Mother
/ b& ?. R1 S- d5 v) i }) B( s Having slaved daylong5 E6 z3 b' h: F+ _& i
From one room to the next# n5 ]& C( `2 d' R
Tucked in my coverlet/ e$ E3 c0 T, q+ y
So the snowflakes gradually tuck in memory of the past- K8 C9 t2 F; d; n* A0 ]
And I faintly hear
- f5 D+ J+ d' Q* Y% W) \/ b; x& `7 ` Twigs fall
% o" ?4 o! q5 R- I& Y# D1 I And the kettle singing3 v3 n" ^( B, N1 U3 C- ^
On the warm fire& P3 ?9 b$ G' O5 \+ {$ i$ J, d
" \/ G5 o, T) e5 h
