  咕咕地轻啼
( G# |; ]  K. Z1 x  窗口的大杨树不知不觉间已高过了四层楼的屋顶
: N% W  ?# k& P- i# d3 i  它们轻绕那些树冠又飞回来
8 H4 C% `" e7 {6 P  阳光在蓬松的羽毛上那么温柔9 ~; N" Q( B  A# n, \3 T" ~
  生命日复一日
, |% M  n: w. L" o4 x2 e1 q  我往往空着手从街上回来
& e8 I$ H- M( Z  把书和上衣掷在床上
6 O8 C6 _- s" W0 I* G4 B  日子过得匆匆忙忙
! {. |: o3 m) Z! y9 q0 N, _  我时常不能带回来什么. ]' H) k, l; A6 g% q- O6 s$ N
  即使离家数日
% s+ N- J* c) E! Q  只留下你和这小小的屋子

  面对无声无息的默契

  他们在许多瞬间属于我们) q( _# {5 Q, v" a% E5 n
  日复一日灰尘落在书脊上渐渐变黄$ _- n3 L/ q# Q/ j
  如果生活时时在给予; i9 f2 Q7 t8 ~& o
  那也许是另一回事
# Z/ u# |4 U5 z9 g  [1 X/ C/ h3 ^  我知道,那无意间提出的请求并不过份/ t5 P3 h- \7 ?: c1 t
  我知道,夏日正转向秋天" \, h9 C/ a! ]
  也许一场夜雨过后就会落叶纷飞
7 _5 S! z) j% i, u  不是说再回到阳光下幽深的绿荫9 q$ g$ d" K) D- h% F! ?
  日子需要闲遐的时候
' J3 ~1 d7 @6 ]9 ?; p; s7 S  把家收拾干净,即使; n6 F4 M4 F2 d" u
  轻声述说些无关紧要的事9 e4 ?1 S3 V$ T% m/ `! Y  @, \# D
  情感也会在其间潜潜走过5 A9 ~! z5 ?/ R  R0 b
  当唇际间最初的战栗使你感知了幸福
2 T2 L" B9 \' `3 O0 e4 ?* s9 w  这一瞬已延伸到了生命的尽头
2 \7 m' \4 D" r0 O  而那些请求都是无意间说出的3 r/ a; h) Z/ a, Y, V% [/ A7 P
  Sometimes the neighbour's pigeons land on my windowledge
  C6 @* a" k, [. \1 Z; n  Cooing softly
5 `" C# o5 L. X4 J4 o  Where the great poplar at the window has somehow
- B, T  S+ m! C" b$ V  grown beyond the fourth-floor roof
, [. l1 _& |" U% S! l, D  They skim round its crown and back
+ o) J9 N* z4 b. n  c  The sunlight on their fluffy feathers
* y  J1 \5 J/ I2 T  Alive day by day- f  `4 j# ~3 z1 M' ~" O
  I keep coming indoors empty-handed
3 |' z0 W& `" x5 |% ^; }  And throwing book and jacket on the bed
0 [3 Z& G# B2 h  As the days hurry by
2 @" r/ _! D- j; i3 P+ U% n% z  I can bring scarcely anything home
0 B9 ^+ c: h* x  J3 u  Even after days away
8 q6 I9 c' _+ }8 ~  Only you remain and the little room
6 {" D1 G# S6 U2 V6 v  Living day by day
7 ]. e" x* T: T9 o" w  We have grown used  o3 W7 o- K; w& h: z  y
  By an unspoken pact to the room's breadth1 v9 m  d* f# e) e9 G
  A pair of pigeons cooing softly on the windowledge
7 l& z4 F8 q# u" R" [: r( w  Which at many instants belong to us
/ Z: P0 B' z2 W! u  Day by day
0 y* J4 T3 e- r- i  A  Dust that falls on book spines gradually yellows* X7 H4 i/ m) S7 g
  Perhaps it is otherwise
; k9 `, X( j, n1 ^( K  x& f  That life, if it does, provides
  V1 J/ h; C0 ]3 y; T  I know that the unwitting request is not excessive/ H- J/ f* P& M3 t
  And that summer turns to autumn$ S5 w7 x, R6 s/ S
  Perhaps fallen leaves will swirl after a night of rain0 i7 P$ M1 j: V$ c- I; k8 T
  It does not mean a return to green shade deep in sunlight
# P$ g8 |4 B% C( }- w  A house-cleaning when leisure affords, T, Y( B2 m* ~  z
  Feelings may come on latent even as
% s6 Q, |$ _; l  Irrelevancies are spoken softly
! T% V5 W) ?6 l% ]" f9 I  The instant when a first trembling on the lips teaches you happiness- D; f: M) x: J# B4 ]! b% _9 n' y& u
  Lasts till the end of life
5 U  v8 e0 k+ w9 |  A request always voiced unwittingly
' i6 [/ u) S$ F" B: a( w1 C  y9 c& L
