7 ^; V" s' C4 h/ l  m　　suspends its arc light in mid-air
. o: U# c/ s6 c& E　　while I ask for nothing
　　the body rises and falls wave-like
　　resisting, it seems, the invasion of the whole world
6 E: I* l9 U' J* O7 \1 S8 A+ G' ]　　handing it over to you
3 s7 l( @4 r4 C' b; t　　a life this rich in danger, a life unwilling to let go
7 w) d' e: k# f; I( q1 o3 o　　turns a blind eye to the daily slaughter
　　from which planet does it shift so dreadfully?
　　liquid does what it wants on dry land, refusing to vanish
　　what kind of air-current inhales the sky?
　　such swollen gifts, such a small cosmos
) {+ _' ~0 e3 j4 S! k　　in which sombre forces are stationed
　　everything vanishing, everything transparent
; k" C5 L4 O1 @# S3 K8 _　　but my most secret blood is made known to the public

　　something everlasting hidden inside my body
& w' B2 c8 c% h0 k" H! H  S4 v! @' B　　more powerful than night in its summary of people?
　　tear-drops soar in a blistering hot night
; _% x/ i4 z# D6 P5 |. z　　vessels lacking any humanity chill the air

　　death cannot withstand the pain that runs through everything
　　but that face devoid of vitality must not be disturbed

! @. m2 ^) z* c9 e  L" L2 G　　daytime was once a part of me, now it has been taken away
6 I" W" D; v2 l% r　　an orange-red light overhead fixes me with its stare
　　it stares at the most horrible aspect of this world
