　　The tide rises， the tide falls，

　　And the tide rises， the tide falls.
　　Darkness settles on roofs and walls，

　　the little waves， with their soft， white hands，
/ |, v' j; ^* d# ^% b* U　　Efface the footprints in the sands，
　　And the tide rises， the tide falls.
